Arbentz Andre Pierre-Antoine was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1968. He is the third born child of seven children from Mrs. Monique Etienne and Mr. Andre Pierre-Antoine. As a young child Arbentz grew up in a home full of strong Christian values of the Catholic faith. At the age of six, Arbentz began his primary studies at the Jean Marie Guilloux Congregational School. At a very challenging time in his life, Arbentz received his first call to serve the Lord by becoming the first and only Seventh – day Adventist in his family, by way of surrendering his life through the waters of baptism in November of 1988. He continued on to complete his high school education at Lycee A. Petion in 1990.
Initially, Arbentz enrolled in the state university of Haiti in 1990 with a major in Philosophy. However, one year later, he enrolled in the Adventist University of Haiti completing his studies in September of 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in theology. In an effort to embellish his skills for the pastoral after graduating in 1995, Arbentz returned to the State University of Haiti for two years with a major in Law. Most recently, Pastor Pierre-Antoine successfully achieved his Master’s in Religious Studies from Howard University in May of 2011. Long before becoming a pastor, has placed the word not only in his heart but also on his mouth and has baptized over 100 souls for Christ. Up to this very day throughout his pastoral ministry Arbentz has baptized thousands of souls for Christ.
Coming to the United States, Arbentz served as an Assistant pastor for Bethesda Haitian S.D.A. and Shiloh Bilingual S.D.A. which are both located in Brooklyn, N.Y. Throughout his ministry, Pastor Pierre-Antoine has found strength in his favorite passage of the scriptures found in Lamentations 3:25-26, that serves as an inspirational guide in his pastoral journey and in his personal life. As a result, on February 15, 2002 Pastor Arbentz Pierre-Antoine received the call to join the Great Allegheny East Conference of the SDA churches where he currently serves on the executive board as the French Ministerial Coordinator since 2008.
On a personal note, Pastor Arbentz takes pleasure primarily in preaching the word of God, learning about History and enjoys his favorite pastime playing soccer.
Pastor Arbentz Pierre-Antoine is married to the former Regine Joanis. Regine Pierre-Antoine is a Registered Nurse. They have been proud parents of their two sons Andrew A. Pierre-Antoine and Andre A. Pierre Antoine.
